Tu Bishvat Seder with Rabbi Jay Michaelson at Dogwood

Tu Bishvat is an ancient celebration of the new year for trees, which the Jewish mystics associated with the cycles of nature and lives.

The holiday’s ecological-spiritual message  has never been more vital or significant than it is today, as we search for ways to bring together our spiritual practice with our urgent activism to avert  climate catastrophe.

Join us for a very special Tu Bishvat Seder and conversation with Rabbi Jay Michaelson at Dogwood.

Rabbi Dr Jay Michaelson is a national voice of progressive Judaism in the United States and longtime meditation teacher in Jewish, Buddhist, and secular contexts. The author of eight books on spirituality, Dr. Michaelson is a contributing editor to The Daily Beast and an editor for the Ten Percent Happier meditation startup. He has been leading Tu Bishvat Seders since 2003, and has written extensively on Judaism and environmentalism.
