Meditation in Real Life – Finding Balance in a World at War
with Sharon Salzberg and Jay Michaelson

Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 | 6:00pm-7:30pm ET | Online

We are living in a world torn by conflict, from wars around the world to hate crimes and political division here at home.

As followers of the dharma we remain committed to reducing suffering for ourselves and others, especially those who are vulnerable. And while we may have different political opinions, surely all of us have been horrified by the events of the last several months, and concerned about the months to come, at home and abroad.

What does the path of the Buddha look like in 2024? What is new, and what is not new, about the cultivation of peace and liberation in times of conflict?

No, we won’t be discussing politics in this session, but we will be talking about the strong, difficult, and important emotions that politics evokes, and sharing practices that help us to cultivate resilience, compassion, and coexistence.

Please join us for a warm, openhearted space of practice and wisdom.
