American Jews have played a significant role in the mainstreaming of psychedelics, in both therapeutic and spiritual contexts.  Might this emerging spirituality change Judaism in return?  In this session we’ll explore the Jewish grammar of psychedelic mystical experiences, and explore resonances and tensions with various streams of Jewish theology, text, and spirituality.

This talk is part of a  Scholar in Residence weekend at Congregation Beth Am.
