Jay Michaelson joins Temple Beth El in Stamford, CT, as scholar in residence for the weekend of April 15-17 — the weekend preceding Passover.  Appropriately for the season, Jay will be teaching on Freedom from Seder Slavery: Cultivating the Spirituality of Passover.

On Friday night, Jay will lecture on “Myth and Function in Jewish Practice: A better way to answer the four questions, pray in sjul, and engage the next generation of American Jews.”

Saturday afternoon, Jay will lead a practical workshop called “Beyond Maxwell House: Creating an Embodied, Enriching Passover Seder.”  And Saturday evening, Jay will teach on “The Deeper Meaning of Passover,” including meditation practice and Kabbalah study.
