There are experiences that feel redemptive, sometimes. But the reification of that feeling into 'Redemption,' and the projection of it into some future, is not part of my belief system. I suppose this can sound pessimistic or dour, but to me it opens the door to an honest valuing of what's real and meaningful to us. Non-redemption is redemptive.
